Features
Headstock & Control Panel:

The 15" & 17" geared head lathes, with soft start for smooth start-ups of even heavy loads, has a heavy-duty headstock. All gears are hardened and ground and are continually lubricated with an oil circulation pump. Our main spindle is made of forged, quenched and tempered steel, with case hardened spindle nose and mounted on precision taper roller bearings. The control panel is designed for one operation and operator efficiency.
 
Micro Carriage Stop:

4-Position Bed Stop:

 For precision positioning the Micro Carriage Stop is a standard feature.
 
 
 
 
 
 

The 4-Position Bed Stop, a standard feature, allows fast positioning for turning and cutting.

 

 Bed & Bedways:

The extra-wide 12 bed is constructed of stabilized cast 'iron with bedways hardened and ground to a hardness of 43 to 48 Rc. The scientifically designed bed has tapered cross braces for fast and easy chip removal. The bed is mounted on a rigid, cast iron base that is specially engineered to absorb vibration and ensure smooth accurate operation.
 
Carriage & Apron:

Controls are designed for safe and easy operation. The 15" and 17" lathes have easy-to-read dual inch and metric dials and is equipped with a quick change tool post. Tailstock:

A heavy-duty casting design for maximum rigidity with a 2-5/16" ram and a MT4 taper. The ram has a graduated scale and the handwheel ring is indexed for accurate ram positioning.
