General Features

Rigid Tapping:

The rigid tapping feature controls both the spindle rotation and linear feed to enable exact in-lead threading. It eliminates the need for expensive tension/compression tap drivers and makes accurate thread depths possible while generating higher quality threads. It also reduces cost by increasing tap life and reducing cycle time. Rigid Tapping is a standard feature on both the SHARK S-600 and S-1050 series machining centers, an optional feature that costs hundreds of dollars on comparably priced machining centers.

Tool Length Compensation:

Tool Length Compensation allows the machine operator to compensate for a change in tool length from the tool programmed without changing the program.

Scaling Option:

A part can easily be scaled anywhere in a range from 0.001 to 999.999 or from 0.00001 to 9.99999.

Electrical Panel:

The Clausing/Kondia SHARK is designed to be a user friendly machining center including the uncluttered design of the electrical panel making maintenance and trouble shooting very easy.
