Features
Headstock & Control Panel:

The 14" CLAUSING/METOSA Lathe is equipped with a two-speed spindle drive motor that drives a 9 speed fully geared heavy-duty headstock giving you a total of 18 spindle speeds. All gears are hardened and ground and run in a continual bath of oil. The spindle is made of forged, quenched and tempered steel, with a case hardened spindle nose and mounted on precision taper roller bearings. The easy-to-operate control panel is designed for efficiency.
 
Micro Carriage Stop:

4-Position Bed Stop:

 A standard feature on the 14' lathe, the Micro Carriage Stop, allows accurate positioning of the carriage.
 
 
 
 

The 4-Position Bed Stop allows fast and accurate turning of multiple length, and is a standard feature on the 14" lathe.

 Bed & Bedways:

The extra-wide scientifically designed bed, with tapered cross braces for fast and easy chip removal, constructed of stabilized cast iron with bedways hardened and ground to a hardness of 43 to 48 Rc. The bed is mounted on a rigid, fabricated steel base that is specially engineered to absorb vibration and ensure smooth, accurate operation.
 
Carriage & Apron:

Controls are designed for easy operation to ensure maximum productively. Easy-to-read dual inch and metric dials, and a quick change tool post are standard equipment on the 14" lathe. Tailstock:

A heavy-duty casting design for maximum rigidity to support work pieces or tooling. The 1-7/8" ram, with MT3 taper, has a graduated

scale and the handwheel ring is indexed for accurate ram positioning.
