Operation
The operator will set the proper angle and position the stock for proper cut-off length.The cutting cycle is completely automatic when the cycle start button is depressed.The FA350SA nonferrous cutting machine turns the blade at very high speeds, 1700 or 3400 rpm.We equip the FA350SA model with dual cycle start switches which must be activated simultaneously for the machine to operate. The vise clamps, the coolant starts, the blade turns, and the blade descends through the material until the cut is completed, the head then ascends to the top of its travel shutting off the blade and coolant and unclamping the vise.Semi-automatic operation is ideal for lot sizes of 10 to 100 pieces.Semi-automatic and automatic cold saws offer other advantages over manual models.Once set for a particular cutting job, the feed rate need not be readjusted until the order is completed.A consistent feed rate will result in greater uniformity of finish on cut pieces than is likely with manually operated machines.Blade life can be affected in a positive way as well.

 *The FA350SA will cut solid material up to 4" round; up to 4" square, however, the feed rate must be reduced to avoid overloading the blade with chips and it is strongly recommended that the machine be fitted with the optional high capacity chip removal system. 2. When cutting stainless steel or other difficult-to-cut materials, use a blade                    no longer than 315mm.
