Operation
The operator loads stock in the machine, checks and if necessary, makes adjustments in cutting angle, vise settings, saw feed rate and head travel.The operator sets the automatic stock feed length using the hand wheel at the entry end of the machine; up to 17-1/2" in a single stroke.For longer cut-off lengths the operator can order up to five indexes from the operator's console.The exact number of pieces required for the job are ordered from the console.Automatic feeding and cutting-off of stock begins by depressing the cycle start button (2 buttons on FA350A) and continuous until the correct number of cuts have been made or the stock is exhausted.Kalamazoo Automatic Cold Saws can be easily setup to make single or multiple cuts up to 45 degrees left of center, 15 degrees right of center or at any point in between.

*The FA350A will cut solid material up to 4" round; up to 4" square, however, the feed rate must be reduced to avoid overloading the blade with chips and it is strongly recommended that the machine be fitted with the optional high capacity chip removal system. Please contact the factory for advice that is tailored to your particular requirements

1. Solid capacities based on mild steel.
2. When cutting stainless steel or other difficult-to-cut materials, use a blade                    no longer than 315mm.
